Bank of Scotland has strengthened its support for agricultural businesses in the South West of Scotland with the appointment of a new senior relationship manager.

David Murray has over 30 years’ experience in the banking sector and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland, having first joined Lloyds Banking Group in 2001 from Royal Bank of Scotland.

David has supported businesses across a variety of sectors including agriculture during his time at the bank. Most recently, he held the role of Relationship Director covering Dumfries and Galloway as well as the Lanarkshire area.

In his new role, David will work as part of the Agriculture team based out of Dumfries, providing vital support to farming businesses across the South West of Scotland as a Senior Relationship Manager.

Bank of Scotland Senior Manager for Agriculture Donald MacDonald said: “The South West of Scotland, with its strong agricultural base, is vitally important to us and David’s experience of the farming industry and his local knowledge will prove invaluable to the team.”
