A conscientious group of 12 ladies recently took part in a six-hour course to complete their Level 3 Award in Emergency Child / Paediatric First Aid in Whithorn Community Centre.
This course, run by Isobel Torbet, was organised by Ashley O’Malley for the members of Whithorn Toddlers. The course was also attended by a parent from Port William Toddlers, a child minder, Whithorn Primary Parent Council Member, a local parent and a local Dance instructor. So it is safe to say that Whithorn and its extended communities should now feel a lot safer with this group of lovely ladies now armed with the knowledge of life saving skills.
This course was generously funded by VOICE, organised with Whithorn’s Building Healthier Communities.
