St Cuthbert Wanderers’ youth team have received a welcome New Year boost with sponsorship for new kits from Kirkcudbright businessman Richie Hamilton.
Richie’s School of Motoring has sponsored the Under-10s team, enabling the club to buy new strips for the players who will be showing off their unmistakeable blue and white strips at various clubs throughout the region and on their own brand new 3G pitch.
David McLachlan, the St Cuthbert youth team chairman, said: “These strips will be worn with pride by the youth team and you can see how they are delighted they are.
“With the support of local businesses, the success of the new 3G facilities ensures we have the best chance of creating growth within the club and encourages more local boys and girls to participate in what must be the best pitch in the Stewartry area. I’d like to offer sincere thanks on behalf of the club to Richie.”
