Whithorn Braveheart boxer Tyler Jolly is off to St Petersburg in Russia on Wednesday to compete in the junior world championships.
Boxing Scotland are sending over six junior boxers to compete in the tournament which hosts 32 countries including the USA and Cuba.
Braveheats’ Coach Tom Jolly said: “Tyler has been training hard all summer holidays, attending residential camps in Glasgow each weekend and training with Bravehearts coaches during the week in preparation for this major competition.
“He is in the best shape of His boxing career and will give nothing short of 100 per cent proudly wearing his Scotland vest.”
Tyler’s first bout is on Friday.
