Stuart Nichol is top gun at Kirkcudbright

Kirkcudbright Gun Club held the annual Club Shoot on Friday evening, June 5, the entry being restricted to club members.

Twenty-two members turned up to take part in the shoot which was held in very windy conditions, but despite the wind the shooting was of a high standard.

At the end of the evening, top gun was Stuart Nichol of Gatehouse on 73 out of a possible 75, good shooting in the prevailing conditions. There was a tie for second place between F Bell of Braehead and R Renwick of Thornhill, resolved by a shoot-off which F Bell won.
