Mid-Annandale will play Crichton in a South of Scotland League match on the evening of Friday, November 21, on their new 3G pitch with a view to attracting a larger crowd of supporters following the success in their first game two weeks ago against Dumfries YMCA.

This contest could well go close with a share of the points a distinct possibility although with home advantage favouring MIds they might just manage to take the three points in what should be a fairly even match.

There are two other league match scheduled to be played on Saturday 22 with the match of the day being played at Blairmount Park where league leaders Newton Stewart take on Edusport Academy. The home side are still unbeaten in the league so far this season but this will be a match that will test their challenge for the title.

Newton took the three points in the previous match at Hamilton before Edu were properly settled in their new playing environment and without the availability of some of their players but they are now at full strength for what should be a good contest and one that should provide the spectators with some great entertainment.

Wigtown and Bladnoch meet Heston Rovers at Trammondford Park and with this game kicking off an hour earlier than the one at Blairmount Park they will be determined to have taken the three points to narrow the five point gap at the top.

The outcome of this match is a crucial one in the Creesiders season and one that could very well determine the success or otherwise in their quest to lift the title. The two round two matches in the SFA Regional Challenge Cup that were cancelled last weekend have been re-scheduled and will now be played this Saturday.

wThe BSC Glasgow versus Abbey Vale match will now be played at New Abbey with a 1.30pm kick-off while the Upper Annandale versus Creetown match will also go ahead with a 2pm kick-off at Moffat.
