The Lochryan Sea Angling Association’s summer league has now concluded with the following results.
Supreme champion: Kevin Hamilton, 19lb 3oz; runner-up: Eric McLean, 14lb 7oz.
Senior champion: Colin Rothwell, 571cm; runner-up: Kevin Hamilton, 497cm.
Heaviest fish: Kevin Hamilton, 6lb 8oz pollock; runner-up: Matthew Baigrie 5lb, 1/2oz bass. Heaviest flatfish: Eric McLean, 1lb3oz plaice.
Specimen fish winner was Kevin Hamilton with 93 percent of the Scottish shore record caught common smooth hound.
Pairs champions: Kevin Hamilton and William Hannay Snr; runner-ups: John Higgins and Kevan Dougan.
Winner of the all-nighter was David Goupillot; runner-up: John Higgins.
Most species caught over the league was John Higgins with 10, runner-up was David Goupillot with nine.
The winner of the knock-out was David Goupillot, runner-up was John Higgins. Winner of the bass trophy was junior Matthew Baigrie 5lb 1/2oz, who was also crowned the junior champion.
The species hunt event was tied at the top with David Goupillot and John Higgins both catching eight different species.
