The lashing rain and strong winds put paid to any South of Scotland football clashes on Wednesday, with all scheduled fixtures postponed.
However, the Potts Cup second round encounter betweeen Heston Rovers and Dalbeattie Star went ahead on Monday, with the visitors edging it 1-0.
Star won thanks to the single goal scored two minutes before the half-time break by striker Scott Milligan.
The visitors broke down the right and, when a cross came off a defender, Milligan was the first to react to tap the ball into the net from six yards.
Star now play Newton Stewart next Wednesday at Blairmount Park for a place in the final against either Threave Rovers or Wigtown and Bladnoch on Wednesday, May 15.
