The competition started several weeks ago and involved numerous teams including Belmont Primary, Ballantrae, East End, Wigtown and Sheuchan Primary.
The final was between two local schools - Leswalt and Rephad and was played at Stair Park during the last home game of the season for Stranraer FC.
The winners were due to receive the grand trophy and 350, while the runners up were in line for 150.
However, prior to the game the coaches of both teams agreed that regardless of who won, they would split the money so both teams received 250 - demonstrating a true sporting nature to all involved.
Player of the match for Leswalt, Sally McMillan, had a huge smile on her face as the team were cheered onto the stand to lift the winners trophy.
