For more information, see On Sunday 17th, the Kirroughtree Hillbilly Duathlon (adult event) will commence at 11am beginning with a 10km run followed by an 18km mountain bike around the flowing trails of the Seven Stanes Red Route see for more information.

Entrants will be able to compete as individual or team – male/female or mixed. Entries close on Thursday 14th May. Adult entrants will receive a free Kirroughtree Hillbilly Duathlon t-shirt and juniors will each receive a medal as well as prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Overall adult winner will take home the Kirroughtree Hillbilly Duathlon Trophy.

The Galloway Hillbillies hope to top 200 entries in this year’s event and would like to thank the many local sponsors who have donated generously to supporting this year’s Kirroughtree Hillbilly Duathlon as well as the return of the Kirroughtree 10 – a mountain bike endurance event that will be held at Kirroughtree on Saturday 5th September.

We hope to see you on the day – either participating in the event or in the support crew. For more information on the events as a competitor or potential marshal, please phone 07791 225 902 or find us on Facebook ‘Kirroughtree Hillbilly Duathlon’ and
