Stranraer will play Hearts, Camelon or Brora Rangers in Scottish Cup third round
Stranraer have landed a possible trip to Tynecastle to face Hearts in the third round of the Scottish Cup.
Sunday's third round draw paired Stevie Farrell's side with the winners of the second round tie between the Jambos - beaten finalists for the past two seasons - and the still to be played first round match between East of Scotland League Camelon Juniors and Highland League side Brora Rangers.
A match with Hearts would bring together two of the clubs who joined forces - along with Partick Thistle - to oppose their controversially enforced relegation by the SPFL after last season was cut short by Covid-19.
The last meeting between Stranraer and Hearts met was in the third round of the Scottish Cup in 2007, Hearts winning 4-0 at Stair Park thanks to a hat-trick from Andrius Velicka and a goal from Roman Bednar.
The tie is due to be played on the weekend of January 30.
