The full fixture list for the group stage of the competition has now been released by the SPFL and sees the Blues open up against Morton at Stair Park on Saturday, July 10.

The hosts will be hoping it's a more enjoyable occasion than the last meeting between clubs in the competition - a first round tie in 2010 which the Greenock side won 7-1.

That will be followed by a trip to Broadwood to play Clyde on Tuesday, July 13, and a home match with Lowland League side East Kilbride on Saturday, July 17.

With groups having five teams it will be Stranraer's turn to sit out the action on the second midweek matchday.

They will then head to Kilmarnock for their final group match at Rugby Park on Saturday, July 24.
