Farrell and Naysmith have been familiar foes over the years and the Stair Park boss is well aware of the threat carried by a side two places and four points ahead of fifth-placed Stranraer in the League 2 table.
He said: "It's another tough one. Gary has come in there and done really well. I've worked against Gary on a number of occasions at Queen of the South and East Fife so we know each and each other's style of play well.
"It's two good sides who, in my opinion, will serve up another good game."
Saturday's match at Stair Park kicks off a hectic spell of four games in eight days for Stranraer who have midweek games with Stirling Albion and Stenhousemuir before their Scottish Cup tie with Hibs.
