In the South League this weekend there are five South of Scotland league matches scheduled to be played.

League leaders Wigtown and Bladnoch are expected to add three points to their impressive tally as well as increasing their goal difference when they play hosts to Dumfries YMCA.

Creetown entertain Nithsdale Wanderers at Castle Cary Park and following a run of narrow reverses.

This could be their chance to record a victory although the home side will have to be at their best to overcome a strong and experienced Sanquhar side.

St Cuthbert Wanderers visit New Abbey to play Abbey Vale and are also expected to take full points while Edusport Academy should continue their challenge at the top by taking the three points from their match against Lochmaben.

The match at Moffat where Upper Annandale and Lochar Thistle lock horns looks evenly matched and could go either way with a share of the points a distinct possibility.
