LINDA MacDonald-Brown judged the Christmas dressage at Calgow and it was great to see a good turnout.

The first freestyle was entered by a few but watched by more. Maybe next time more will take part. Best turned out horse was Star ridden by Jean Tidswell and best turned out pony was won jointly by Beth Macdonald on Minstral and Caitlin Jolly on Ace of Spades. Thank you to Jillian Crosbie of Glad Nags for donating the prizes.

Training for dressage takes place on Friday afternoons with Hazel Quigley instructing. The next dressage competition is on Sunday, Janaury 29. Prelim 15 and Intro A classes and prizes for the best turned out horse and pony. Indoors if wet. All welcome. See the website www.calgowequestrain.co uk for details.
