There are six Cree Lodge first round ties scheduled to be played this Saturday with some very exciting games in prospect.
Heston rovers entertain abbey vale at Palmerston park for a match the home side will go into as favourites to progress to round two as will Lochar thistle in their match against Creetown although the result of this match could be close.
Mid Annandale should manage to overcome Dumfries YMCA and Nithsdale wanderers could have too much fire power for Upper Annandale.
Newton Stewart play hosts to Threave Rovers at Blairmount Park and if the young home side produce the form that they displayed last week against Saints then they are more than capable of seeing of the challenge from the Castle Douglas side although Threave could well be the favoured team to progress.
The final match is at Trammondford Park where Wigtown meet St Cuthbert Wanderers in the match of the day for a contest that could go either way.
There are three south of Scotland league matches being played midweek with Dumfries YMCA playing hosts to Heston Rovers and Edusport academy meeting Mid Annandale at Galabank.
The local derby at Kirkcudbright between St Cuthbert Wanderers and Threave Rovers looks like being one to savour by the supporters of both teams and where a share of the points is a distinct possibility.
