Dumfries and Galloway Council Ranger Service is looking for volunteers to assist with projects across the region.
Ross Gemmell, a ranger for volunteers and communities, will be leading a task each month in and around Wigtown Bay Local Nature Reserve and is looking for helpers.
The first task was last week when new anti-slip strips were fitted to the boardwalk on the approach to the Wetland Hide at Wigtown Harbour.
The next task will be on August 28 from 10am-12.30pm and the itinerary will depend on how many people wish to help.
If you wish to volunteer, Ross can be contacted on 07834567893 or by email email@example.com.
