Over the course of the weekend three people were subject of Stop Search procedures in the Newton Stewart area.
As a result of these searches a 34 year male will be reported for possession of heroin, a 24 year old will be reported for possession of cannabis along with other drug offences and a 34 year old will be reported for possession of heroin.
Police Inspector Gavin McHallum said ”We are determined to make obtaining drugs on our streets as difficult as possible and will continue to use the powers available to us to target those involved in the drug scene.
