On Tuesday the 26th May the children of Creetown nursery went on a sponsored walk to raise money for new equipment to put in the nursery.

They went to eight different locations starting with the school sign. They then they went to the park, the caravan site then the heritage centre, Creetown silver band hall then the Gem rock museum and finished at the school’s sun dial.

They walked an exact 1.3 miles snd they learned about road safety, places to visit in the area and how to use maps. They put stickers on a map to show the places they want to go back to. The nursery would like to thank all the generous sponsors and adult helpers who ensured the walk raised a whopping £494.83.
