Plans for a soft play area in Minnigaff have been resubmitted showing a new entrance.
Proposals before Dumfries and Galloway Council last week showed plans for a children’s soft play area, cafe and servery in a warehouse at Creebridge Mills, but came under fire for its access points which fronted onto Creebridge Filling Station.
Some parents voiced concern about the traffic movements nearby, and local businesses objected on the grounds of a lack of on-street parking within the area.
But plans released on today (Thursday) show a new proposed entrance taken from the car park area at the rear of the building.
The plans are due before councillors in the coming months.
Please note: this story updates that printed in tomorrow’s Galloway Gazette (Friday 7 June), which went to print before the new plans were released.
