Santa’s sleigh set to tour area from next week

Santa and his ever-popular sleigh will be doing the rounds from next week, with a little help from Newton Stewart and District Round Table.

Santa’s reindeer will pull him around the Machars and surrounding areas (with a bit of help from Jim McDowall’s van) and Santa’s little helpers with their high visibility vests on will be collecting for charity along the way.

They will be in the following places on the dates listed:

Tues 3rd December - Wigtown

Wed 4th December - Blackcraig/Creetown/Carsluith

Mon 9th - December - Kirkcowan/Mochrum Park/Bladnoch

Wed 11th December - Old Minnigaff/Penninghame/Glentrool

Thurs 12th December - New Minnigaff/Ewart Drive

Sun 15th December - Whithorn/Isle of Whithorn

Wed 18th December - Kirkinner/Sorbie/Garlieston

Thurs 19th December - Whauphill/Mochrum/Portwilliam/Monreith

Sun 22nd December - Newton Stewart

Tues 24th December - Newton Stewart Town Centre

The sleigh will leave Newton Stewart each night at approximately 6pm except on the Sundays when we will be collecting in Whithorn and Newton Stewart at 4pm. On Christmas Eve the Round Table will be collecting outside the cinema from 10am to 2pm.
