Riding for the Disabled (Machars Group) held their Christmas pantomime recently.

The script, Humpty Dumpty, was written by 15-year old Anna Collins, one of the riders, who is a pupil at Kirkcudbright Academy. The participants were riders from The Loch Arthur community in Dumfries, Adult Riders group and of course the school children. In the audience there were pupils and teachers from Castle Douglas Primary school, Castle Douglas High school, Twynnholm Primary School and Kircudbright Academy who came to cheer their fellow pupils.

Father Christmas arrived on his faithful steed and distributed presents to each participant. All in all it was a splendid show and was very much enjoyed by riders, helpers and the audience alike.
