The DIY tool that started life on a New Luce farm is now taking Australia by storm.

LadderLimb, the handy paint pot hanger which was the brain-child of farmer Alistair Taylor who created the simple aid after spilling a paint tub in his home , has been snapped up by a huge DIY chain down under.

Bunnings Warehouse in Australia and New Zealand ordered 20,000 units after seeing it at a trade fair in Las Vegas earlier this year, taking the total sales in its first year of production to around 80,000.

And just weeks after receiving their first order, Bunnings have bought 10,000 more.

Alistair said this week: “They don’t normally buy single products like this from one place but they must have proved popular.”

Alistair recently filmed a TV advert which is due to show on ITV4 and Sky channel 240, Home and Health. It will also feature on QVC Shopping this weekend.
