Forestry Commission Scotland has appointed Churchill Catering Ltd to run the café services at Kirroughtree visitor centre.
Churchill will start early in 2015 and were the successful bidders after an open tendering process took place.
Keith Muir, Forestry Commission Scotland’s recreation and tourism manager said:“We’re very happy to be working with Churchill whohave a good understanding of our business and already run catering in other areas within the Forestry Commission.
“I’d like to thank our current caterers Cream O’Galloway for helping get our new visitor centre off to a great first year. We’ll all be working together to ensure a seamless transition of catering so that visitors will continue to be well looked after.”
Churchill Catering is a family managed business operating services in England and Scotland at several Forestry Commission locations including Edinburgh, Lake District, Norfolk and Kent.
The new caterers will be in place from Saturday 10th January 2015.
