The Post Office is opening a new service at Drummore Stores.
The ‘Post Office Local’ service, which launches on Wednesday 22 April, will be provided at a combination counter in the store, where the Post Office terminal will sit alongside the till.
Post Office services will be available during the store’s opening hours, 7:30am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and 9pm to 1pm on Sunday. The opening hours which will increase by an extra 23 hours and 30 minutes a week, will ensure that the branch is more convenient, as people will now have more choice of when to visit.
The new Drummore Post Office will be delighted to welcome customers to the new branch. Local residents and small business customers will be able to access the wide range of Post Office and mails services, including Special Delivery, Local Collect, home shopping returns, and make online banking cash deposits and withdrawals, withdrawals using a Post Office Card Account, send funds abroad using Moneygram, pay bills, pre-order travel money, apply for travel insurance and top up mobile phones.
The present Drummore Post Office at 27 Mill Street will close at 12:30pm on Wednesday 22 April. During this short period of closure before the new branch is operational Post Office services may be accessed from any convenient Post Office branch, including Sandhead Post Office.
