Thirty-nine-year old Neil, who joined the Scots Guards in January 1990, has now been commissioned into teh regiment and that will extend his servicefor another 10 years. He has served two tours of Afganistan.
Neil is based at Catterick Barracks with his wife Sara and daughters Iona and Mairi. He is the son of William and Iris McClelland and the brother of Audrey.
