A Garlieston man has pleaded guilty to producing and supplying cannabis, supplying diazepam and interfering with witnesses.
Scott Galashan, 24, of 27 Forteviot Gardens, pleaded guilty in Stranraer Sheriff Court on Tuesday to four charges, all centred around Flat 1, 15-17 Castle Street, Stranraer, between June 15, 2011, and June 15, 2012.
He denied charges of supplying methoxyamphetamine, possessing cannabis and cannabis resin, approaching two witnesses on George Street, Charlotte Street and Ashwood Drive in Stranraer, demanding they fail to attend court to give evidence and issuing threats to them and their families. This plea was accepted by the court.
Visiting Sheriff Alastair Carmichael called for background reports before sentencing.
Prosecutors also called for the forfeiture of a piece of evidence – £180 in cash – which was approved by the sheriff.
Galashan will return to court on May 28 for sentencing.
