Lifeboat called to beached boat

Stranraer Lifeboat was called to assist a 10-metre yacht aground in Stranraer Harbour at around 4.20pm on Monday.

With reports of three people on board, the crew quickly launched and was alongside the vessel by 4.30pm. The people were removed due to the location of the boat and the crew stood by until 8pm when a tow line was attached to the yacht and it was towed free.
