Dumfries and Galloway Young Farmers Club’s assistant secretary Hannah Burns has been selected to represent the Scottish Assosiation of Young Farmer Clubs at this year’s Rural Youth Europe autumn seminar.

After a successful interview in front of a panel of National Council and Young Farmer Ambassador representatives, Hannah has gained her place on the seminar, which is being held Malvern, Worcestershire, from October 12-19.

North Region YFC chairperson Heather Charles was also selected and will be representing Scotland alongside Hannah. The pair will be working together with other countries on Inspiring Change: Transforming Communities through Innovation and Entrepreneurship, which was the chosen theme for this year’s seminar.
