Gull ringing in Stranraer

Members of the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO) will be carrying out Gull ring activities over the winter in some of Stranraer’s car parks as part of a study into migration patterns.

The ringers will be using “established best practise techniques to ensure minimal distress to the birds.” Any issues or concerns should be addressed to the council’s countryside services team on 030 33 33 3000.
