CUSTOMERS who have been trying to phone Galloway Falconry Centre, near Dalry, following news of the owners’ bankruptcy have been contacting the Gazette for help.
A telephone number doing the rounds is all the customers, many of whom spent hundreds of pounds on gift vouchers for the centre, have to go on.
One customer told us the business had been taken over by former owner Grant Fergusson’s wife and her partner Jake, but the Gazette cannot confirm this.
When calling a mobile number given by a former employee, it either rings out or goes straight to voicemail.
Falconry forums online have been filled with disgruntled customers demanding answers.
Training firm Lantra Awards, whom Mr Fergusson claims on his LinkedIn profile to be associated with, published a statement on May 11 claiming: “Grant Fergusson previously worked with us as a centre assessor and verifier. However, following a number of inquiries we would like to make viewers aware that Lantra Awards has no association or representation with him or Galloway Falconry.”
