Fergusson welcomes Scottish Office Q&A session on referendum in Kirkcudbright

Galloway and West Dumfries MSP Alex Fergusson has welcomed the announcement that Scottish Office Minister, David Mundell, is to hold a Q&A session on September’s Referendum of Independence in Kirkcudbright Town Hall at 6.30pm on Monday 19th May.

After the announcement was made, Mr Fergusson said: “Amidst all the uncertainty, one thing is clear and that is that many people have very genuine questions about the Independence Referendum to which they are seeking equally genuine answers. So I very much welcome this opportunity for people to come and put those questions to David Mundell MP, whose experience as a former MSP, now with a vital role as a Minister in the Scottish Office, gives him a unique perspective on these issues. I have no doubt that people will wish to take part in this informative exercise, and am delighted that the Minister has managed to fit this visit into his busy schedule.”

Admission is free, and places can be reserved by contacting 01312449066.
