Fabulous Finds is a glittering exhibition of recent archaeological finds from across Dumfries and Galloway.

It is running at The Stewartry Museum until December 29.

The Stewartry Museum in Kirkcudbright is very pleased to show this new exhibition of interesting and beautiful archaeological finds which have been formally deposited in local museums through the law of Treasure Trove.

See objects ranging from pre-historic flints to Viking weights, Bronze Age swords to medieval papal seals. They have been found by people from all over Dumfries and Galloway as casual finds or by metal-detecting or through archaeological excavation. Now is the opportunity to see a selection of these finds in your local museum.

The exhibition is open from Monday to Saturday 11am-4pm, admission is free. Opening times will vary over the Christmas week.
