They will be handing over the reins, or in this case the leads, to John and Michele Keenan who are relocating from Milton Keynes where John ran his own IT business. Michele, a qualified nurse, John and their two dogs Macduff and Chaos will return to Scotland having originated from Glasgow.

Dunragit Kennels will continue to operate as a Scottish SPCA Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre with John and Michele as managers of this important local amenity where the emphasis is on rehoming cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs and the occasional ferret.

At the beginning of the year, the boarding kennels and cattery were completely redecorated by the local firm of Derek Little and Son. John and Michele say that they will continue to maintain the high standards of cleanliness and animal care that has been established by Peter and Donna and added that they look forward to meeting existing customers as well as welcoming new customers and their cherished pets.
