A teenager who admitted three charges, including assault, appeared for sentencing at Stranraer Sheriff Court this week.
Dylan Frost, 17, of 18 Ashwood Drive, Stranraer, pled guilty at an earlier diet to pushing Sean Wilson at 25 London Road, causing him to fall and then repeatedly punching him on the head and body. The accused also admitted making threats and causing £1000 of damage when breaking a window at the same location.
Procurator fiscal William McKay told the court the accused and the complainer had a falling out at around 20 to one in the morning and a fracas ensued. Defending, solicitor Paul Feeney said that the accused had “too much to drink on this occasion”.
Sheriff Alastair Brown sentenced Frost to a community payback order, including supervision, for one year and 240 hours of unpaid work.
