A meeting is to be held in Newton Stewart as part of a Dumfries and Galloway Council consultation on budget cuts.
The council says it is currently facing significant financial challenges due to the reduction in funding from the Scottish Government.
It now plans to hold a series of meetings where the public will be consulted on which services will go and which will stay.
The consultation event is on Thursday 29 September, 2pm to 4pm, DG Customer Services - Newton Stewart.
There are other events on Friday 30 September, 3pm to 5pm, DG Customer Services - Castle Douglas; Monday 3 October 11am to 1pm Glenluce Village Hall; Wednesday 5 October 1pm to 3pm Kirkconnel Resource Base.
