The annual Community Safety Survey in Dumfries and Galloway closes on 23 December 2014 and local people are being encouraged to complete the short questionnaire and have their say.
The Community Safety Partnership wants your views on what issues affect you, what the priorities for community safety should be and how we can improve the overall service locally.
You can have your say on this important issue by completing an online survey at www.dumgal.gov.uk/consultations or by completing the short survey at your local Library or Customer Service Centre.
Our Council wants Dumfries and Galloway to be the safest place in which to live and along with our many partners we are committed to reducing or eliminating the threats to safety within our communities.
Councillor Tom McAughtrie, Chairman of Community and Customer Services Committee commented: “I would really encourage everyone living in the region to take up this opportunity to have their say on what community safety issues affect them in Dumfries and Galloway. This local knowledge and insight is really valuable to us and we will use this and statistical data to inform future community safety work across the region.”
Your opinion is valued and the resuls of the survey will be used by the Community Safety Team and partners of the Community Safety Partnership to identify areas for improvement throughout 2015.
