Laura Hunter spoke on behalf of the community centre committee to say: “ The meeting established that people are on the same page and we will continue to search for suitable premises, as the ones offered by council aresimply a stop-gap for now. On the same evening, members of Cree Valley Community Council criticised the centre committee for holding a meeting on the same night, meaning no members could attend.

Cree Valley chair John McNaught said: “I find it unbelievable they’re holding it tonight. They asked us to help but how can we when we can’t attend? We’ve had very little correspondence from them from the start.”
