Do you have an interest in health and social care services in Wigtownshire?
Are you interested in taking part in discussions about local services?
Do you have ideas about how these services can be changed to improve the health, wellbeing and social care of older people in the area?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, there is a project that may be of interest.
Putting You First is holding community engagement sessions in Stranraer on Monday, November 18, and Newton Stewart and Wigtown on Thursday, November 21, to find out what local people think.
Putting You First programme manager Linda Owen is keen to involve local people in the programme, in which they’ll have the opportunity to let the NHS Dumfries and Galloway know what the people of Wigtownshire want from their health, care and support services for the future.
Linda said: “Putting You First is a five-year change programme which aims to transform the way we design, develop and deliver health, care and support services across the region. If we are going to succeed, it is vital that local people let us know what they think about these services and how they could be better.”
If you are unable to attend any of the community engagement sessions but are interested, call the Putting You First team on 01387 272741 and a survey can be posted to you.
