Three Kirkcudbright artists are exhibiting in the Studio at the Tolbooth from May 1 to 17.

This is part of the Edwardian Weekend, a new event linked with the Kirkcudbright Summer Festivities.

Delya Randall (Wilkinson), Annemieke Oldfield and Alison Johnson are all members of the Kirkcudbright Community Centre Art Group and have put together an exhibition of Edwardian pictures and prints and postcards of the area and other subjects.

Delya has her studio at Chattan House B&B and opens up for the Art & Craft trail in August and by appointment in the summer. Delya’s first solo exhibition was in the 1980s at Furness Galleries in Ulverston and she exhibited there regularly until the owners’ retirement. She has also exhibited at Brantwood, Ruskin’s house in Coniston (Cumbria), Farfield Mill in Sedbergh and was a member of the Barrow Society of Artists for 12 years.

Annemieke works in oils and gouache and has produced some sepia tone paintings for the exhibition.

Alison’s work is highly detailed using the medium of pencil.

Some pictures and prints are for sale.

The Tolbooth opens daily from 11am to 4pm, and admission is free.
