The chance to be an official mascot for the Glasgow Warriors is just one of the prizes at a charity auction this month.
Stewartry Rugby Club’s 46th Annual Dinner takes place this year at Arden House Hotel, Kirkcudbright on Friday 29th April at 7pm.
The club will be holding an auction on the night with some great prizes on offer.
Top prize is the Glasgow Warriors Mascot prize.
This will give the chance to be a Glasgow Warriors Mascot for one of their matches in Glasgow.
The full package would be terrific for any kid aged 6-12 who would run out with the Warriors Captain at a home match in season 2016/17.
They would also get a ticket for him/herself plus three other tickets, and get to see behind the scenes at the game with the chance for autographs and to meet the players.
As an added bonus the winner will also receive a Warriors replica kit.
Another prize in the auction is a signed, framed Warriors shirt.
The auction prizes also include a tremendous Airth Castle overnight Spa break for two, with Prosecco and strawberries on arrival, massage and facial spa treatments, lunch , three course dinner in the Grill Room and full Scottish breakfast in the morning.
This prize would possibly need to be taken by 30th June this year. Airth Castle is a Country House Hotel near Kincardine Bridge.
Another prize is one for the farmers, 10 semen straws taken off Pine Tree Alta Oak (valid for six months from March 2016).
For the golfers there is a round for a group of four at Lochmaben Golf Club.
There is also a meal to Tony Budde’s menu for up to eight people, within the Stewartry area. This will be cooked in your own home for the host/hostess to serve to up to eight guests.
There is also a one week stay for two in the Lookout Cottage, Dundrennan.
Bids can be placed no later than Thursday 28th April with club secretary Ian Steele on 07714136923.
Tickets for the event can be purchased from Derek Collins on 01557 330012.
The speakers this year include Bob Shaw (The Game) and Niven Rennie (The Club).
