Eco-Schools Scotland visited Whithorn Primary in the summer to assess their work.
The topics covered by the action plans over a two year period were food and the environment, waste minimisation and litter.
The assessor was very impressed by the class presentations and the Eco-Committee’s knowledge of the environment and wrote: “One of the stand out aspects of your Eco-Schools work was the links made to work across the curriculum.”
He awarded the school their third green flag which has now arrived in school. There were no recommendations on the report. Well done to everyone involved with this great achievement!
