Dumfries and Galloway Canine Rescue Centre is once again seeking entries for its annual photographic competition.
The purpose of the competition is to select a total of 18 high quality photographs of dogs for use on its 2015 Christmas cards and its 2016 calendar. Entries of dogs of all shapes, sizes, breeds and colours in a variety of settings and backgrounds from snowy or festive to manicured gardens to rough Galloway terrain are being sought but it must be bourne in mind that to reproduce successfully in printed form, those taken using mobile telephones are usually unsuitable.
Cards and calendars form a very important part of our sales and marketing activities so we do hope that both professional and amateur photographers will support us. As always, a range of prizes will be awarded to winning entrants which are selected by a panel of judges.
There is an entry fee of £2 per photograph and entries should be forwarded to firstname.lastname@example.org by the closing date of 31 May 2015.
Further details are also available from the kennels on 01387770210 or email@example.com. In order to maximise the benefit of this activity, we would welcome help and advice form any interested parties who can help us to create a truly professional job.
