The organisers of the Stranraer RNLI Park Fest are delighted to announce a strong line up for this year’s Young Guns Night which takes place on Friday 19th August 2016 in Agnew Park.
The night is designed to showcase young local talent and has gone from strength to strength over the past five years. This year they launched a region-wide search for one lucky singer and Amie Kirkpatrick from Dumfries was selected. With a set made up of popular covers, her vocal influences include Adele and Kelly Clarkson and she is currently writing her own material.
Also on this year’s line up are Glasgow based five-piece indie/rock band Delphi (featuring a favourite from last year’s Park Fest Murdo Mitchell), 18-year-old singer Jessica Harrison, and collaboration band Caution by the Monumental Goose from Stranraer.
Closing the night will be Arcadium who were a massive hit with the audience last year. The Young Guns Night is proud to be supported by the Hollywood Trust. [Tickets will be available on the door or at one of the authorised outlets TBA soon].
