Whithorn nursery are still looking for your votes to help them in the bags of help scheme.
Whithorn Primary School Parent Council are delighted that their project for much needed improvements tother nursery garden has been shortlisted for the Tesco Bags of Help initiative held across Scotland, in association with groundwork.
they are one of three community groups and projects which will be awarded a grant of £12,000, £10,000 or £8,000 – all raised from the 5p bag charge.
Hazel Smith, Chairwoman of Whithorn Primary School Parent Council, said: “We ask that the public will please vote in the Stranraer store for our fantastic project at Whithorn nursery from 31st October till 13th November!
“The children really need a garden they can play and learn in and enjoy for years to come! As a rural school and nursery every vote will count and we would be delighted to receive your support.
