Leswalt Parish Church Annual Auction is all set to take place on Saturday 28th February in Leswalt Memorial Hall.
It’s always a great night with bargains and laughs a plenty.
The organisers are now appealing to the good people of Wigtownshire to help make this year as successful as past events. They are suggesting that you start the spring cleaning slightly early and clear out those cupboards and garages that have been bothering you all winter and donate any useful items that you no longer want or use, to be sold at the auction in aid of church funds. (Please note we are unable to accept computers, electric heaters and televisions.)
The auction is a vital fundraiser for the Church and the money raised goes a long way to help keep the Church active and its coffers out of the red.
This year some of the arrangements have altered slightly and below are the times the hall will be open to receive the donated items and for viewings;
Friday 27th February
The hall will be open between 2.00p.m. and 8.00p.m. to receive donated items.
Saturday 28th February (the day of the auction)
The hall will be open to receive donated items between 10.00a.m. and 12.30p.m.
Viewing is invited between 1.00p.m. and 3.00p.m.
The auction starts at 7.00p.m. but the organisers recommend that you get there early to guarantee a seat!
Look out for the posters and adverts over the coming weeks. For enquiries please contact Renee Smith (Session Clerk) on 01776 705567.
