The village of Kirkpatrick Durham is holding a Christmas Fair and Cafe in the Village Hall on Saturday 6th December, from 10am to 4pm.
This is the fair’s third year offering a unique range of bespoke pieces and specialist food producers to visitors.
As always, Kirkpatrick Durham Christmas Cafe will be offering its homemade soups and cakes – the perfect place to relax and take in the festive cheer! The cafe takes the opportunity of being part of the Christmas Fair to raise funds for Kirkpatrick Durham Recreation Association for the upkeep of the village recreation area.
The Kirkpatrick Durham Recreational Association, who are running the cafe, to raise funds are also running a ‘Slate of
the Art’ raffle. Local artists are painting onto slate from the old bothy and people can buy raffle tickets to win one of the slates. This means eight lucky visitors will go home with an original piece of art from the fair. All monies go to the recreational fund.
Support in Mind, Scotland is a new charity that the organisers are supporting this year. They will have a table and be offering their handmade goods.
There will also be a varied range of local Kirkpatrick Durham artists and artists from throughout the region for visitors to meet whilst looking round.
