A charity supporting brain injury survivors has set up information days in Stranraer.
Headway Dumfries and Galloway is the only charity in the Dumfries and Galloway area which specialises in supporting survivors of an Acquired Brian Injury (ABI) and also supporting their family and Carers right across Dumfries and Galloway.
Barbara Marshall, the Adults Outreach Services Co ordinator for the West of the region has set up information drop in days.
The Information Drop ins are shared with the MHA in George street, Stranraer.
This sessions will be on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month and will be manned by Peer mentors.
The launch for the service is on Thursday the 7th April at 11am at the MHA.
Headway UK provides support to the local Groups and Branches and helps to deliver high quality services through guidance on policies, procedures, standards and training.
It runs a network of over 100 local Groups and Branches throughout the UK offers a wide range of services, including rehabilitation.
