Penninghame and Monigaff Parish Church have just completed a week long holiday from Monday to Friday last week in Penninghame Church Hall.

The theme this year was “On Your Marks” and through the week over 80 children came along to hear the Christian message while having a ball playing indoor and outdoor games, singing, dancing, doing arts and crafts, with a pause half-way through each day for a well-earned juice and biscuit. Each day we were led in a morning warm-up by our very own team physio, Mr Motivator, and Kenny the Ref kept everyone on the straight and narrow! There was also a film night for teenagers, with a big screen showing of Soul Surfer, complete with popcorn. The week culminated in a family service on Friday evening, followed by a barbecue and ceilidh, with music from Bruce McKenzie and Chris Henry.

Anyone who can’t wait until next year for more fun and games can come along to Rock Solid every Friday during term-time at 4.30pm and Sunday Club every Sunday all year round at 10.30am, both in Penninghame Church Hall.
