Friends offers befriending for people aged 65+.

The later years can be difficult, bringing loneliness and isolation, and local fundraising helps provide companionship for older people in our area.

Development Officer Karen Barbour said: “Befriending makes such a difference to people’s lives – for some of our members, we are the only people they see for company.
